Vintage 1980’s Danish 2 seater sofa, Model EJ20 by Jørgen Gammelgaard for Erik Jørgensen. 

This funky little 2 seater sofa in warm yellow alacantra with beech legs was designed by the architect Jørgen Gammelgaard in the 1980’s. Produced by high end Danish furniture manufacturer (who also produce Volther’s Corona chair) Erik Jørgensen, it is exceptionally well made, compact and comfortable.
 
It is presented in good used condition with some light staining and some wear. However, please note that alacantra has a similar nap to suede so varies in colour based on how it is touched and how the nap then changes direction – hence the variation in colour here and there in the pictures.
 
The price reflects the condition as in pristine condition this sofa can sell upwards of £3,000. On this basis, although in perfectly useable condition, it’s priced with the idea the buyer may want to  reupholster it to suit their décor.
