Born in Copenhagen in 1903, Danish architect and designer Ole Wanscher played a pivotal part in Denmark's Mid-century modern movement. His simple but refined aesthetic reinvented classic forms and helped define Scandinavian design.
This simple but elegant mahogany table was manufactured by the cabinet markers Poul Jeppesen Møbelfabrik in the early 1960’s. They enjoyed a great deal of success between the 1940’s and 1960’s and also worked closely with another notable Danish designer Grete Jalk. It’s offered in good vintage condition with just a few small marks to the woodwork here and there.
