A pair of vintage black leather and cane easy chairs attributed to Dutch manufacturer Rohe Noordwolde

This is an unusual pair of bent cane black leather and dark stained easy chairs and have been attributed to Dutch manufacturer Rohe Noordwolde. Rohe produced many such designs from the 50’s through to 1970s and their designs are recognized by the quality of the finish as well as how the cane is bound together at the joins. These particular chairs are unusual in that whilst you will see many designs in much the same style by the manufacturer it’s rare to find them with a leather upholstered seat and back support. This of course adds more comfort and also creates a more beautiful chair IMO as it also adds a colour and material contrast.

They are in very good vintage condition with no loose bindings or joints and small marks and wear in the soft leather and frame just as you would expect.
