Set of six dining chairs and extending dining table with 2 leaves. The chairs were designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen and manufactured by Mogens Kold, Denmark, circa 1960 and the table by Nils Jonsson manufactured in Sweden also circa 1960 by Brabohag.
The chairs are very comfortable and feature an organic back shape and have recently been reupholstered in pale blue French linen. They are constructed with a feature insert of plywood and solid teak are in excellent vintage condition – each carries the makers mark. The table, whilst not designed by Olsen, perfectly match the colour and grain of the chairs and it’s compact design belies the fact it can comfortably seat 6. This is facilitated by the use of 2 leaves that can either be used together or independently and stow within the table when not in use.
