London based collage artist Peter Clark is widely known for his whimsical collage art. He uses a collection of found papers, which are coloured, patterned or textured by their printed, written or worn surfaces. He then folds, and layers these recycled paper gems to sculpt collages of animals, garments, and people. 
 
Peter has the rare ability to turn ordinary printed matter into finely detailed works of art with character, beauty and wit. Whether at antiques fairs in Sussex, or further afield to flea markets in France, USA, Japan and India, he travels far and wide to source materials for his next pieces.
 
His quirky portraits of dogs are among his most popular and each original collage takes many painstaking hours to complete. Created in limited, hand finished editions, each original is a unique and sought after piece of joy.
