Danish Mid century space saving dining set featuring a set of 6 Kai Kristiansen chairs matched to a Nils Jonsson extending table.
 
This is a perfect choice if you’re looking for Danish Mid century dining set with a relatively small foot print to suit your dining room. The Nils Jonsson table is narrower at 80cms than most dining tables of this era but remains very useable and also benefits from the flexibility of having 2 extension leaves stored inside the table that can be used independently. With the downward sweep of the carver arms the chairs are not only very comfortable but also practical in that this allows them to be pushed under most tables to save space.

As you can see from the photos, although by different designers they are a very good match; the light rosewood of the chairs compliments the golden colour and grain of the teak table beautifully. In addition the dimensions of the chairs both in width and depth, means that they fit perfectly under the table to a point where it almost appears as if the chairs were specifically designed with this table in mind.
 
The table and chairs are in overall very good vintage condition. The chairs do show signs of use and although still in a presentable and useable condition in my opinion they would benefit from being reupholstered to suit your décor – they have therefore been priced as part of this set with this in mind.
