Keith Haring’s work grew out of the New York street culture of the 1980’s and featured elements of pop art and graffiti. As his work became more recognised he was commissioned to create many large scale works and murals in his highly recognisable style. After his untimely death in 1990 his estate licensed his art to a small number of Art based companies with the renowned Italian porcelain design and manufacturing house, Porcellane Tognane being one of the earliest.
These plates are presented in their original boxes and date from the mid 90’s and therefore have become increasingly rare to find over the years. Apart from their obvious function they could be displayed in frames as pure artwork or used as focal points to enhance your décor. The plates themselves are in excellent condition but the boxes, as you would expect, do show some signs of wear.
