The OXO design was conceived by architect Nigel Coates for the Oyster House project in 1998, which went onto win the RIBA ‘Concept House for the 21st Century’ award. Ever since the unique soft, interlocking design of the hm61 range has become a designs classic and even today is still a best seller for HM.
 
Equally at home in an office reception, studio or domestic environment the stools are eye catching and comfortable (well, as comfortable as a stool can be!) They would also work well in a child’s play area with their fun shape and soft lines.
 
This set of four are in very good overall condition and the list price would be in excess of £3,000 for the set. They are very slightly sun faded, but as it’s uniform it’s hardly noticeable. The set comprises 2 ‘noughts’ and 2 ‘crosses’ with one of the stools having feature chrome feet and the other 3 with wooden feet.
