A large square thick glass and polished cast aluminium sculptural coffee table in the style of Philippe Starck dating from the 1980s.

Although not signed or marked with a maker’s mark, this table very much fits with Philippe Starck’s design style in both form but also in the use of the sculptural polished base. It’s a solid and heavy table and is as much and art piece in its own right as it is a perfectly functional coffee table. The top is not attached to the base so simply floats above the organic almost faunal legs to create an eye catching and unusual centrepiece.  
 
It's presented in very good vintage condition with only light scratches to the glass surface and polished aluminium base surface as you would expect but there are no other chips, dents or signs of tarnish.
