A pair of stylish vintage, Mid century steel and red fabric armchairs in the style of Gijs van der Sluis.
 
Unfortunately there are no markings on these chairs that tell us who the designer and maker is, but they very much echo the designs of GVDS around the 1960’s and are probably Dutch. Very similar in construction with a steel frame, vibrant red fabric and dark wooden arms, they are in very good vintage condition with no major marks to speak of.
 
They are simple and clean lined and are both stylish and comfortable. By virtue of the fixings they could also be re-upholstered in whatever colour more suited your décor – although the current upholstery is in very good condition.
