A very large and imposing multi-coloured abstract painting in the style of Jackson Pollock.  
 
Created and signed by the Gloucestershire artist Henry Haddock this abstract, at over 3 metres in length and 1.8 metres in height, is a stand out piece that would be equally at home in a large residential space or office. With a background of grey, white and black layered with a variety of colours on top it is also a very flexible piece given that the numerous colours could match a variety of decors.
 
Most recognizable as in the style of Jackson Pollock, it is in fact based on the artists own use of mediums and ethos too. Henry combines colour and forms to create an expression of feeling using techniques that encourage random and exciting movement. In the artist’s own words, ‘I am exploring the idea of creating one’s own luck within my work, making art that is not completely controlled by hand but is controlled by mechanisms of movement. I like the element of controlled randomness and the excitement of not knowing exactly how each mark will end up on the Canvas’.
